Pacific Palisades is an amazing living opportunity because it is one of the only neighborhoods in LA that gives residents beach front access and mountainside access at the same time. The neighborhood, which twists toward the Pacific Ocean, is home to about 25,000 residents across 23 miles.

Residents here enjoy a variety of State Parks in their backyard. From the Santa Mountains and Temescal Canyon Park in the North and West, to the canyons visible from many houses in the neighborhood, living here is like living in a natural oasis right by the city. There’s easy access to major highways, which aren’t too loud because they’re surrounded by beaches and nature.

PACIFIC PALISADES REAL ESTATE INSIGHTS

Pacific Palisades lives up to its name. The neighborhood is full of major Hollywood Celebrities and musicians. Naturally, this gives many of the homes a private feeling, hidden deep behind hedges and the natural landscape of the area.

THE PEOPLE AND LIFESTYLE

The neighborhood’s amazing location between mountain and beach creates an LA paradise with a thriving culture. This amazing spot would be a true gem to find by itself, but being so close to the biggest city on this half of the Mississippi makes it a true wonder.

People often wonder about what might go on in such an elite community, but the neighborhood has a surprisingly laid back feel to it. People gather for an annual Independence party and share conversations at the Sunday Market.

The whole community is set up to be as residential and convenient as possible. In the village area, you’ll find amazing shopping outlets, eateries and local produce. The laid back community feel is even stronger here, especially compared to neighborhoods like Bel-Air/Beverly Hills part of town.

ATTRACTIONS

If you’re looking for something to do in Pacific Palisades, the area has a good mixture of attractions. There’s historic sites, trails, cool architecture, and a lot of beaches. You can visit the Eames House and get a taste for mid century architecture, or go for a walk on California’s hidden Will Rogers Beach. There’s also dazzling parks like the Lake Shrine Temple or one of the many canyon parks further inland.

RESTAURANTS

Pacific Palisades is known for its celebrity residents, and the Hollywood energy doesn’t disappear at the dining table. Many restaurants in the neighborhood are internationally acclaimed, and almost all of them are delicious. Here are some of our faves:

  • Hank’s - The burger joint for royalty. This is your typical family friendly burger diner, but with a classy twist: Choose from massive double cheeseburgers (with a half pound of meat) or their gourmet skinny fries.

  • The Draycott - Take a trip to Westminster from your own backyard, and enjoy authentic English cuisine. Finger sandwiches, hot tea, and other delightful snacks meet a charmed atmosphere to make you feel like you’re dining with the Queen.

  • Porta Via - This is a classic steakhouse that actually got started in Beverly Hills. It’s a great crowd pleaser and is famous for allowing substitutions and custom orders.

SHOPPING

The newly opened Palisades Village is a commercial superhaven, created by billionaire developer Rick Caruso in 2018. Here, you’ll find designer brands to fit your apparel needs, as well as high quality grocery stores with fresh produce. Additionally, there’s high end boutiques, a movie theater, and lots of areas to enjoy the scene.

SCHOOLS

All schools in Pacific Palisades are charter schools, which are funded by the LA Unified School District. This means that parents have a wide range of educational options to choose from. Additionally, students from kindergarten through twelfth grade regularly meet English and mathematics standards at rates that are double the state average.
